post-02 Dec 2014 Post

It has been one year from 02 Dec 2014. It was the only Birthday I had in Germany (something special after 21 years)

A warm hug from my dearest second brother. The moment is short enough, but the feelings went deep inside the heart and brain, like it penetrates through Great Wall of China. Has been long time we didn't meet up (like those days when we were young). Therefore, this moment is well longed for and appreciate I have the chance to stay with my brother again.

There, in Germany, knew a new friend. Jia Chang, Tee. Ya, he is Malaysian Chinese. The only Malaysian Chinese in my Wohnung. We are somehow like brother-sister in overseas. But, I will always remember that his first phrase after I said "Hi"; -"How did you get to know I live in this room??" Well, up to this point, I would say, is God's Will to bring us together in this small Wohnung. He tried his best to hide himself or (in good saying) he wants to explore a new world, but no longer to stick with Malaysian everyday.

Our friendship started officially with my birthday. It was a joke when I first told him to make a cake for my upcoming birthday. I was told he has a very good baking skill but sadly he has to prepare for his Praktikum. But.......surprisingly , on 1st Dec 2014, he came with a cake on his hands to my room..

My happy and smiling face but the whole air become so awkward suddenly. My brother was there as well that night. He didn't know the jokes between me and Jia Chang. then, I say, can you please bring the cake again tomorrow night ?

Gizem has no idea it was my birthday, and I don't feel like want to tell her anyhow, afterall.

Appreciate their times and also effort coming from far away, especially those in Essen.

p/s: one year in Germany was fully filled with lots of things. Once again I feel how fast is a seconds, a minutes, an hour, ... a year. Yet, memories are always there when I turn to over look at the steps I have taken.
